THE CODE INSTITUTE:
Besides the fundamentals of Front End development, JavaScript, JQuery, Python, mini frameworks like Flask, working with API's, databases like mySQL, MongoDB and Postgres, full stack frameworks like Django, version control with Git and deployment using Heroku and AWS, the course Full Stack Webdeveloper teaches the standards and needs of the tech industry today. Four professional projects form my web development portfolio showing the material covered.

GLOBETECH LTD.:
As a linguistic data analyst/modeler in AI/ML I optimize the processes that improve the customer’s experience. Improving accuracy, debugging, improving workflows, adding data for new functionality and clarifying and improving guidelines; the projects I work on for one of the big tech multinationals have a big impact on how users define the brand. Within the team I also train new hires and function as point of contact for several administrative tasks and project related matters. Due to a non disclosure contract I cannot further elaborate on the specifics of the role.

TEKSTBEELD GROEP:
Prepress specialist / Graphic designer with a good knowledge of digital and offset printing.
Intensive interaction with a great variety of clients. Trained in sales.  Since the early start of the internet I've been working on web design.

From the nineties up to the present day I work for a classical music festival (www.festival-zvl.nl) building websites, designing presentation material and printed material on a freelance basis.

I created the full layout for local papers including many of the adverts, editing, occasionally writing editorial material and communicating and planning with the printers.
